Mixed state microwave resistivity of cuprate superconductors
We present a compared experimental investigation of the (a, b) plane vortex-state complex resistivity at 48 GHz in YBa2Cu3O7−δ, SmBa2Cu3O7−δ and Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x. In YBa2Cu3O7−δ and SmBa2Cu3O7−δ the field dependence of the response can be consistently described by a combination of flux flow and strong pair breaking due to the presence of lines of nodes in the gap. In Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x, by contrast...

متن کاملMixed state Hall effect in the multiphase superconductors
Hall effect below Tc in multiphase superconductors has been studied on Bi-based superconductors. Samples with different relative content of 2212 and 2223 phase have been prepared. The phase content has been verified by X-ray diffraction. Results show that while resistance and ac susceptibility is almost insensitive to the content of 2212 phase, the qualitative behavior of the Hall resistance is...
متن کاملMixed-state quasiparticle spectrum for d-wave superconductors.
Controversy concerning the pairing symmetry of high-Tc materials has motivated an interest in those measureable properties of superconductors for which qualitative differences exist between the s-wave and d-wave cases. We report on a comparison between the microscopic electronic properties of dwave and s-wave superconductors in the mixed state. Our study is based on self-consistent numerical so...
متن کاملScaling of the Equilibrium Magnetization in the Mixed State of Type-II Superconductors
We discuss the analysis of mixed-state magnetization data of type-II superconductors using a recently developed scaling procedure. It is based on the fact that, if the Ginzburg-Landau parameter κ does not depend on temperature, the magnetic susceptibility χ(H,T ) is a universal function of H/Hc2(T ), leading to a simple relation between magnetizations at different temperatures. Although this sc...
